"Sojaprotein" registered 9.49 billion RSD worth of profit in first half of year 2009

Bečej-based soybean-processing company "Sojaprotein" registered profit of 9.49 billion RSD in the first half of year 2009, 8.43 billion RSD of which was the value of sales.

According to the six-month financial report, "Sojaprotein" registered untaxed profit of 180.57m RSD and net profit of 162.5m RSD.

The Bečej-based company ended the first quarter in this year with the net losses of 425.96m RSD after it had registered 4.58 billion RSD worth of incomes and about 5 billion RSD worth of expenses in that period.

At the annual level, the largest soybean-processing company in Serbia and one of the most significant companies in central and east Europe planned to achieve business incomes worth 15.22 billion RSD, 13.45 billion RSD worth of expenses, and gross profit of 945.36m RSD.

The company's incomes in 2008 amounted to 20.3 billion RSD, expenses reached 19.9 billion RSD, while the gross profit was 418.53m RSD.
