- Factory of Equipment and Parts (FOD) in Bor, which was bought by Austrian company "A-tec" in April 2008, will dismiss 131 workers - the source from that company told "Beta" agency.

The list with the names of workers who will be laid off on Monday was placed at the entrance of the factory on Friday (August 7, 2009). Some of them already signed the lay-off contracts on Friday.

As "Beta" agency found out, there are several single parents on the list of surplus workers.

According to the information obtained from that company, the list with the names of workers have been sent to the trade union in order for the complaints to be lodged because of the people who will become financially and socially endangered following the dismissal.

Based on the social programme, 155 workers left the factory in November 2008.

"A-tec" was also the best bidder for takeover of Mining-Smelter Basin "Bor", but the owner, Mirko Kovač, did not pay the offered price on time.
