Law office Stankovic and Partners advises Bulgarian investor in arbitration claim

As reported by the Global Arbitration Review, a Bulgarian investor in an underwater mine has brought a claim before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) against Serbia based on the breach of the Bilateral Investment Treaty between Bulgaria and Serbia, due to termination of privatization agreement nearly a decade ago.

Bulgarian company Kornikom’s claim against Serbia was registered at ICSID on 30 April.

Kornikom is represented by White & Case in London, Bulgarian firm Georgiev Todorov & Co and Serbian counsel Stankovic & Partners.
