"Societe Generale Osiguranje" obtained work permit

The National Bank of Serbia announced on Friday (July 31, 2009) that it had issued the working license to insurance company "Societe Generale Osiguranje".

Thanks to that permit, the insurance company will be able to provide life, lease and supplemental insurance services and other types of life insurance in accordance with the Law.

The majority owner of "Societe Generale Osiguranje", with the share of 51%, is French life insurance company "Sogecap SA".

By founding the company, of which CEO is Stephane Debart, foreign investors invested 3.5m EUR in Serbia.
