Veterinarian Institute, the Subotica-based company that is specialized for production of fodder and pet food, as well as pharmaceutical products and pesticides, has registered 1.12 billion RSD worth of business incomes in the first half of year 2009, which is 11% more than in the same period in 2008.

Veterinarian Institute opened two new production units in the first half of the year - fish food production line in Subotica and the unit for production of solid hemo-pharmaceutical products in Srpska Crnja, in which 7m EUR was invested. New units in Subotica will make it possible for production of extruded fish food to be doubled, which will contribute to the growth of Institute's export by 20%.

On the other hand, by opening the unit for production of solid hemo-pharmaceutical products, the Institute has become the first institution in field of hemo-pharmacy that meets conditions for GMP certificate since it satisfies the highest production standards. These units ensure completely sterile production and they are the first of the kind in Serbia.

Veterinarian Institute has adopted the business plan at the regular meeting of stockholders, which is expected to increase business incomes in 2009 to the level of 2.12 billion RSD, while the projected net result amounts to 113m RSD.
