After the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Economy and MTU Aero Engines AG, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic pointed out that a state-of-the-art company had arrived to Serbia and that each third aircraft in the world contained the manufacturer's components.
Vucic also said that the agreement on the construction of the facilities was signed in June. As he says, the production will probably be initiated in Stara Pazova, where the factory is to be built.
He also added that 450 people should be employed in the first phase and that he hoped that many more would be employed later on.
