State asks minimum 40m EUR for Belgrade Trade Fair

(Belgrade Trade Fair)
The Privatization Agency announced that its Tender commission had decided the day before (July 27, 2009) that the negotiations with the only bidder for takeover of the Belgrade Trade Fair could commence only if that bidder increased the offered price to minimum 40m EUR.
The consortium comprising Trade Fair "Rimini" and company "Verano motors" has offered 1.8m EUR for 70% of capital of the Belgrade Trade Fair.
The commission for negotiations will give 15 days to the bidder to decide if it wants to accept the Tender commission's decision about increase in the price.
Aforementioned consortium is the only bidder on the tender for sale of the Belgrade Trade Fair.
In addition to the price of 1.8m EUR, the offer also includes an investment programme worth 35m EUR, which was the minimum amount requested by the tender.
That offer has been estimated as unacceptable by the Mayor of Belgrade, Dragan Đilas, and the Director General of the Belgrade Trade Fair, Anđelko Trpković.
