VESELI: Pristina’s fees on Serbian goods to be suspended at US request

The Chairman of the Assembly in Pristina, Kadri Veseli, has stated that the introduction of import fees on Serbian goods is one of the most important decisions made by the Pristina authorities, but that it now needs to be suspended, as per the request that came from Washington.

– The reason is that this request is coming from the USA, from President Donald Trump, and not because of Serbia and President Aleksandar Vucic – Veseli stated on Pristina’s TV Klan.

He claims that the decision to impose the tariffs is now used for internal needs.

– I was the one to propose this decision. Even after America, that is, President Trump, requested the suspension of the tariffs by letter, I said that they won’t be suspended, but now they will be for a period of 120 days. We shouldn’t oppose the USA – Veseli said.
