Online application system for Erste Bank's loans activated on web portal Krediti.rs

Erste Bank is the first bank in Serbia that has made it possible for the citizens to submit electronic applications for loans on website http://www.krediti.rs/ starting from July 24, 2009. According to the bank's announcement, it is possible to apply for all types of cash, restricted-purpose, automobile and mortgage loans, while the online application system for debit cards will be introduced soon.

In addition to Erste Bank's products, there are also appropriate calculators on the website, which should help potential clients choose the loan in accordance with personal capacities and send an electronic application form for that product to the nearest office of Erste Bank. Also, download of necessary documentation has been made possible.

Employees in the office selected by the citizen receive the request via e-mail and contact the client.

- We have introduced this option in order to save client's time. In this way, interested citizens will be able to obtain the loan with fewer visits to the bank office. Of course, we still find personal contact with credit advisers very important in the loan approval process - said Goran Kostić, the CEO of the Retail Operations Sector in Erste Bank.

Zvezdan Žarić, the founder and the CEO of Novi Sad-based company "I2R", which owns Internet portal www.krediti.rs, said on this occasion that web portal www.krediti.rs represented the starting information point for citizens and economy sector in search for banking and leasing services in Serbia.

- Internet Loans is the new service launched by portal www.krediti.rs, which saves both time and money of users and providers of banking services. By introducing this service, website www.krediti.rs has enabled its users to order loans on the Internet. The team gathered around Krediti.rs project consists of experts for banking, capital market and electronic operations - Žarić added.

The use of service "Internet Loans" is completely free-of-charge for users, and it takes only few minutes for an application form to be filled out and sent. Following the reception of the application, identity of the applicant is checked via phone, as well as basic information on the requested loan, after which the application is forwarded to the nearest bank office, which then resumes communication with the client.
