President of Administration in "Pivovara Laško" submitted resignation

The President of the Administration in "Pivovara Laško", Boško Šrot, submitted the notice of resignation from the position of the Director General yesterday (July 23, 2009), and the supervisory council of the company accepted it.

This resignation was requested by the banks that did not want to enable extension of the repayment period for 130m EUR worth of loan to "Pivovara Laško" under his management.

The supervisory council of "Pivovare Laško" has already appointed Dušan Zorka, former CEO of "Pivovara Union", as the new Director General.

The first task of Mr. Zorka will be to reach the agreement with the banks creditors on financial refurbishment of Group Pivovarna Laško.
