"Viator&Vektor" to present plans for construction of bus factory in Kragujevac until end of July - investment worth over 10m EUR

Slovenian company "Viator&Vektor" should officially inform the Kragujevac's city management on the plans related to announced construction of bus factory prior to the end of July. The preliminary agreement on construction of the factory was reached during the last month's stay of Serbian business delegation, led by Minister Mlađan Dinkić, in Slovenia.

The Management of "Viator&Vektor" then spoke about that to the Kragujevac's city management in Serbia. Although the details concerning the new company of "Viator&Vektor" in Kragujevac will be specified in the company's letter of intent, "Danas" finds out that Slovenian company plans to have a brand new unit built in the center of Šumadija, which should have 243 workers and produce 450 buses a year. The value of the investment will exceed 10m EUR.

Let us remind that the construction of the bus production factory in Kragujevac has also been announced by Italian "Iveco", which operates within "Fiat" group. Although Italians postponed construction of the bus factory in Kragujevac and takeover of "Zastava Trucks" for one year at the end of March, "Danas" finds out that Iveco may start realization of part of its plans in the center of Šumadija in September.
