Italian Government provided 30m EUR worth of credit line for Serbian enterprises

Minister of Finance, Diana Dragutinović, and the Ambassador of Italy to Belgrade, Armando Varicchio, signed the contract yesterday (July 22, 2009) on 30m EUR worth of credit line of the Italian Government, which is intended for Serbian small, mid-sized and public utility companies.
The Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, Radovan Jelašić, said that the loans would be approved to the companies through four business banks - Komercijalna, UniCredit, Banca Intesa and Privredne Banka. - According to the preliminary agreement with those banks, interest rate on the loans will amount to 4.25%, and it will be fixed, while the amounts of loans range between 50,000 and 1m EUR for small and mid-sized enterprises, and between 150,000 and 2m EUR for public utility companies - Jelašić explained.
