Google becomes member of Digital Serbia Initiative

Google is a new member of the Digital Serbia Initiative, which already gathers 28 organizations and companies from various sectors around the idea of transforming Serbia into a digital society.

As one of the largest technological companies in the world, Google will contribute to the Initiative's activities its international experience in supporting the development of digital economies, the Initiative says in its press release.

Google Adriatics Country Manager Josko Mrndze believes that the Initiative and Google share the same goal of supporting the digitization of the Serbian economy and adds that they will continue supporting the Initiative's activities through their presence in the region.


The president of the Managing Board of the Digital Serbia Initiative, Branko Milutinovic, says that Google's joining is the next step in the support that this global giant has already provided to the digital ecosystem of Serbia.

Nebojsa Djurdjevic, CEO of Digital Serbia, says that, with this expansion, the vision of Serbia as a digitally transformed society is a step closer to reality.
