Mataruška and Bogutovačka spa resorts at auction on September 11

The Privatization Agency will offer natural sanatoriums and holiday resorts Mataruška spa and Bogutovačka spa for sale at auction on September 11.

The auction, which was supposed to be held on Friday, July 17, has been postponed, and the starting price amounted to 137.7m RSD.

The estimated value of capital is 860.9m RSD, and the future owner will be obliged to invest 229.7m RSD in the spa resorts. The most important facilities are hotels Termal, Mineral and Žiča, restaurant Jugoslavija, the building of old bath, dependance Mineral and pizza store Kapica.

That company employs 146 people and, according to the data provided by the Privatization Agency, its incomes in 2008 amounted to 134.8m RSD, while the expenses reached 171.5m RSD.

Mataruška spa resort is eight kilometers away from Kraljevo, it is rich with springs of mineral water with sulfur. Bogutovačka spa resort is 23 km away from Kraljevo and it has mineral water rich with silicate acid, radioactive elements and sulfur-hydrogen.
