Stimulus to development of wellness tourism - Euro-regional cooperation between Vojvodina, Hungary and Romania

The representatives of the Wellness Tourism Cluster of Vojvodina, with the headquarters in Kanjiža, have signed the agreement on Euro-regional cooperation with the representatives of thermal clusters of North and South lowlands of Hungary and the Association of Spa Resorts of Romania in Hungarian city of Čongrad.

Milan Vuković, the President of the Assembly, has signed the agreement on behalf of the Wellness Tourism Cluster. CEO Jožef Palinkaš said that it was in mutual interest of all signers of the agreement to present their wellness tourism potentials to the world through Euro-regional cooperation and to back the activities on development and improvement of spa tourism.

The agreement on Euro-regional cooperation points to the need for continuation of work on introduction of international quality standards and establishment of joint Euro-regional tourism cluster, with the aim of management and improvement of wellness tourism and joint marketing appearance.
