Durim Limaj, the chief of the cabinet of the Kosovo minister of trade and industry, stated that over a thousand inspectors were active in that territory. According to him, they are controlling the inflow of goods from central Serbia and claim that “there are no smuggled goods”.

Limaj said on RTV Dukagjini that the amounts of Serbian goods in stores in Pristina were symbolic.

He says that only the goods from Serbia for which the 100%-higher fees were paid can be found in stores.

According to him, “after several attempts at smuggling, minister Endrit Shala increased the number of inspections”.
