The Hungarian airline Wizz Air will start flying between Nis and Malmo on May 17, 2019, for the first time after the route's cancellation on January 7. Only fifteen days later, they announced that they were bringing the service back and started selling tickets.

As the low-cost company announced, the flights will be available each Wednesday and Sunday until mid-September, and then each Monday and Friday.

Wizz Air was the first low-cost airline to start operating at the Constantine the Great Airport, in June 2015, with Malmo flights being the first service they launched.

According to earlier data of the PE Aerodrom Nis, the Nis-Malmo route was used by 32,000 passengers a year.

In addition to Malmo, the Constantine the Great Airport maintains another 10 routes to cities in Europe.
