Lower rents for office space in Subotica

The Assembly of Subotica lowered the rents for city office space today (July 14, 2009) by 10% in extra city zone and by 5% in other zones.

At the meeting of the City Assembly, the value of points for use of city building land was cut by 12.04%, to 0.003316 RSD.

- The rents for office space have been brought in accord with the market prices on several occasions. At the time of the economic crisis, we have decided to lower rents this time in order to make it easer for tenants to survive and maintain certain jobs - said Saša Vučinić, the Mayor of Subotica.

New price of rent for 1 square meter of office space in extra city zone for catering companies amounts to 908 RSD, traders must pay 804 RSD, while the price for craftsmen amounts to 431 RSD.

Catering companies will be paying 766 RSD for rental of 1 square meter in the first city zone, traders will be paying 389 RSD, while the price for craftsmen and entrepreneurs who offer personal services amounts to 363 RSD.

The rents have not been lowered for banking, insurance, gambling and betting business.
