Agreement between Zastava Arms and Remington on October 18

The Agreement on long-term business cooperation between Zastava Arms and American company Remington will be signed on October 18. The signing of the contract will be carried out in the presence of the president of Serbia, Boris Tadić, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Slobodan Milosavljević. It is expected that the Republic Prime Minister, Vojislav Koštunica, and Ministers Predrag Bubalo, Mlađan Dinkić and Velimir Ilić will also be present on that occasion.

The Agreement is made of two parts. The first part is the Memorandum on understanding that anticipates long-term business cooperation between the two companies and it refers to joint development of new technologies and products, exchange of experiences and experts. The second part of the agreement relates to the commercial contract between Zastava Arms and Remington for the next year, which implies unique appearance of the two companies with the brand Remington by Zastava on both American and Canadian markets.
