IMT and Government of RS signed contract on delivery of tractors

- Industry of Machines and Tractors (IMT) will start delivering tractors to Republic of Srpska next week, with the subvention of 2,000 EUR - it was announced yesterday (July 9, 2009) in Banja Luka.

The Minister of Agriculture of Republic of Srpska (RS), Radivoje Bratić, and the President of the Administrative Board of IMT, Radomir Beloševac, said after they signed the contract on subsidized sale of tractors that about 20 tractors would be delivered the next week.

Beloševac said that IMT had promised to deliver 500 tractors to RS by the end of the year, at the subsidized price of about 6,160 EUR, and he added that the price of tractors would be the same for buyers from RS and Serbia.

He added that another 1,500 tractors should be delivered to RS in 2010, also at subsidized prices.

Minister Bratić said that the governments of Serbia and RS subsidized procurement of tractors with 1,000 EUR each.

That contract has signified the beginning of realization of the Agreement on economic and tourist cooperation between the Government of Serbia and the Government of Republic of Srpska.
