Hilton Hotels to recycle unused soap

Hilton hotel chain has launched the initiative to give “new life” to their unused soaps

Taking into consideration that their housekeeping attendants leave new soaps in the bathrooms even though the guests haven't used up the old ones, great quantites of soap end up being thrown in the trash.

Instead of throwing away unused soaps, Hilton will launch and environmental initiative wherein old soaps would be melted, mixed, sterilized and disinfected and would be recycled into new ones.

This is just one of many environmental initiatives Hilton has started. Let us remind that last year they banned the use of plastic bags in all of their hotels.
