"Porr" to finish scrapyard "Željkovac" near Leskovac prior to end of year 2009

Company "Porr Werner&Weber" announced that the completion of construction of scrapyard "Željkovac" near Leskovac was expected in the third or the fourth quarter of year 2009.

That company announced that that investment project included financing of construction and operations of that scrapyard for solid waste, including recycling center and landfill gas storage (LFG) for the needs of the Regional Waste Management Agency (RWMA) "Jablanički okrug".

Short report "Summary of environmental and social influence" has been prepared by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a part of its environment protection activities.

According to earlier information, this investment is worth 36.5m EUR.
