Komercijalna Banka realizes record high profit of EUR 71 million – Deposits higher by 11% compared to 2017

Komercijalna Banka had a profit of RSD 8,121,000,000 (EUR 69 million) in 2018, and the whole group had RSD 8,381,000,000 (EUR 71 million), the biggest profit since its founding, the president of the Executive Board of Komercijalna Banka, Vladimir Medan, said on March 26.

At the presentation of the bank’s results in 2018 to shareholders and potential investors at the Belgrade Stock Exchange, Medan pointed out that, concluding with December 31, 2018, the balance assets of Komercijalna Banka amounted to RSD 401 billion, a growth by 9% or RSD 32 billion compared to 2017, whereas the whole group had RSD 442 billion, a growth by 10% or RSD 41 billion.

According to him, the bank’s deposits grew by 11% compared to 2017, amounting to RSD 319 billion and RSD 359 billion on the group level at the end of 2018.

Medan pointed out that the increased profit had lead to the growth of the total capital, from RSD 63.3 billion to RSD 67.6 billion at the end of 2018.
