Increase in prices of telegram sending services in Serbia

Prices of telegram sending services in Serbia will be five times higher starting from today (July 1st, 2009).

Previous price amounted to 38.54 RSD with VAT for telegram with up to 800 characters. Starting today, the price for the same telegram amounts to 204.40 RSD with VAT.

Telegrams that are sent abroad are charged per word, and one word in telegrams for Republic of Srpska and Montenegro costs 15.59 RSD, while one word in telegrams for all other countries costs 64.90 RSD.

The signature of the sender and the address of the recipient are also counted as words.

- Telegrams are under jurisdiction of "Telekom", while Postal Company provides all the services - people from the Postal Company of Serbia told Beta.
