Sports hall opened in Zrenjanin - about 720m RSD worth of investment

- Sports Hall in Zrenjanin, in which about 720m RSD have been invested since year 2006 when the construction commenced, was solemnly opened yesterday (June 30, 2009) - it is announced on the website of the Executive Council of Vojvodina.

This sports hall, also called "Crystall Hall" by the citizens of Zrenjanin, has 2,800 seats, modern locker rooms and clinic. It has been built according to European standards and it is made fit for holding of significant sports competitions, as well as concerts and other manifestations.

Major share of the funds - 455.8m RSD, has been provided by the Capital Investments Fund of Vojvodina, while the rest of the funds has been provided by the city of Zrenjanin.

Sports Hall in Zrenjanin is situated next to the old sports hall at the Karađorđe Square.

Within the scope of "Universiade", basketball semifinals for women will be played in this hall.
