Vranje-based "Simpo" has opened a refurbished showroom at 500 square meters of retail space in Aranđelovac, and it is one of ten showrooms that will be opened by the end of this week.
"Simpo" opened a showroom in Lazarevac on Monday, and it is going to open showrooms in Smederevo, Pančevo and Belgrade (four new facilities), as well as department store in Sarajevo.
According to the words of the Local Sales Manager of "Simpo", Miroljub Petrović, that is a tough campaign whose aim is reconquering of the market, not only in Serbia where Vranje-based company currently has 39 retail facilities and plans to open new ones, but also in the countries of former Yugoslavia.
- As the largest furniture production corporation in the Balkans and very important manufacturer in Europe, "Simpo" lost significant market and about 120m EUR worth of property after disintegration of Yugoslavia - said Petrović.
In spite of the fact that financial consequences can still be felt, "Simpo" has plucked up the strength to start reconquering the lost market and to regain the leading position.
Part of that business policy is the special offer of top-quality furniture, about 50% of which is exported to the countries of European Union. Thanks to favorable prices and subsidized loans, that furniture is now available to local buyers as well.
