World Bank : Kosovo is one of the best locations for start of business in East Europe

The report that is based on the Business Index, the index of the World Bank, quantifies the complexity of starting of business, employment and dismissal of workers, obtaining of investments and capital funds, registration of property and closing of business.

According to the study, Kosovo is the environment that is more favorable for business than any other former member of SFRJ. In certain fields, such as employment and dismissal of workers, it shows even better results than some new members of European Union.

“Index of conditions for doing business in Kosovo in 2005" was prepared by Integra, Priština-based company that deals with economy research in scope of the Project for Clusters and Support to Business in Kosovo.
