"Eco-recycling" recycles car and freight tires - environment protection and economic profitability

"Eco-recycling" is the first factory in Serbia for recycling of car and freight tires, as well as other kinds of waste that has been piling up on scrapyards for years.

Recycling is carried out in accordance with all environmental standards and EU's regulations, so that it does not have harmful influence on environment.

The complex situated in the vicinity of Sirig, on the territory of municipality of Temerin, includes 3,600 square meters of concrete boxes for safe storing and handling of waste pneumatics, as well as production hall at 2,400 square meters where the state-of-the-arts tire recycling line, made by renowned Danish manufacturer, is installed.

The technological process of recycling starts with cutting of tires into larger pieces, which are then cut into smaller pieces in the next crushing unit. Steel wire and canvas are then separated in few phases by means of magnetic separators and vibrating sifts, so that, at the end of the procedure, rubber granules that are 99.9% pure are obtained once tires pass through another two mills. There are no side effects on environment in this recycling process.

In addition to its great importance to environment protection, recycling of tires is also economically profitable project because it turns used products into the products with new value.
