Belgrade-based "Laser Bled" bought "Zlatara Majdanpek"

Belgrade-based "Laser Bled" bought "Zlatara Majdanpek" on June 26, 2009, at the starting price of 4.648m EUR.

The new owner took over the obligation to resume production of jewelry for, at least, next five years, as well as to employ 344 workers on indefinite period of time.

Slovenian company started cooperation with "Zlatara Majdanpek" seven years ago, when the company from east Serbia manufactured jewelry designed by Slovenian partners for the market in USA.

"Laser Bled" primarily deals with maintenance and logistics. The company has over 450 employees, and it packs cigarettes for Niš-based company "Philip Morris" in Serbia.
