- The representative of Polish-Czech-Hungarian company "Spolchemie", which is interested in takeover of "Župa" from Kruševac, has visited the factory's units - people from "Župa" announced today (June 26, 2009).
- His impressions are very positive. We are of the opinion that "Spolchemie" is a serious buyer that will be able to collect information on the company's operation as soon as it buys the tender dossier - the Director General of "Župa", Miroljub Milojević, told Beta agency.
He added that the representative of "Spolchemie" was aware of the fact that production in all units of "Župa" can start as soon as raw materials were provided, which could create jobs for about 100 new workers.
At the beginning of July, according to the words of Milojević, that factory should also be visited by the representatives of a Portuguese company that deals with production of xantats and finds that part of production in "Župa" interesting.
The announced arrival of interested buyers was the reason why the Privatization Agency extended tender for sale of "Župa" prior to August 21st.
That was the third extension of the fourth tender for sale of the Kruševac-based factory, which was offered for sale for the first time in 2002. In the meantime, the company registered two unsuccessful tenders and cancelled one sales contract.
