ComTrade obtained 15m USD worth of job in Macedonia - 55,000 computers for educational system in neighboring country

On the public tender for procurement of computers for Macedonian primary schools, company ComTrade Group has signed the contract worth over 15m USD. The subject of this contract is equipping of Macedonian schools with 55,000 computers that are specially designed for the needs of education. All computers have educational software, translated in Macedonian language.

The contract has been signed with the Ministry of IT Society of Republic of Macedonia, while the project is financed by the Government of Republic of Macedonia.

Implementation of the project will be finished by the end of year 2009.

This job represents the beginning of the joint project of ComTrade Group and company Intel with the aim of equipping all schools in the region with computers and suitable software, as basic tool in modern educational system.
