Meeting of representatives of Serbian and Greek companies

The representatives of 25 companies, members of Hellenic Export Promotion Organization HEPO, have met with the representatives of Serbian companies with the aim of developing further business cooperation and improving economic relations between Serbian and Greek companies.
The Project Manager in HEPO, Spiros Prešas, said that Serbian market was one of the top-priority markets for Greek companies with the great potentials for improvement of cooperation, because of the vicinity, geographic position and traditionally good and friendly relations between Serbia and Greece.
He pointed out that the previous results of cooperation between companies from the two countries were very good, and he expressed expectation that that cooperation might be additional expanded and improved.
Pointing out that the meeting gathered representatives of Greek companies from the domains of chemical, building, food, textile industry and energy sector, Prešas said that that was not the first meeting of the kind and that the contracts on successful cooperation between Serbian and Greek companies had also been signed at the previous similar meetings in the past.
According to his words, Greek banks, building and food companies are the most present in Serbia, and there is also a possibility of cooperation in other economy sectors.
Speaking of the economic crisis, Prešas pointed out that it influenced all companies, including Greek ones, and he expressed expectation that the negative influence of the crisis would have as small influence on trade relations and cooperation between Serbia and Greece as possible.
