By the end of the weekend petrol will rise in price for 4 dinars on average per liter, and Serbia remains the leader as the state with the highest petrol in the region. A liter of lead-free petrol will be higher for about 3.5 dinars and it will cost around 104.2 dinars, i.e. 1.1 Euros. Euro diesel's price will be higher for 4.5 dinars and it will cost as much as 101.6 dinars, i.e. 1.07 Euros.
This rise in prices will make price lists the same as the last summer, when a barrel of crude oil reached record 140 US dollars. Oil price is around 70 US dollars these days, and the rise was actuated by the currency consolidation.
Euro diesel's price has risen for the record 43.2 dinars, since January, i.e. it has risen from 58.2 dinars, as it was at the beginning of the year, to the prognosticated 101 dinars this weekend. However, the exact amount of price rise will be stated by the Ministry of Energy on Thursday (25/06/2009), and price list correction is expected during the night between Friday and Saturday.
