Factory for refinement of fruits and vegetables in Leskovac - Bonta Italiane company signed an agreement on the lease of land

Mayor of Leskovac, Slobodаn Kocić, and the owner of Italian company Bonta Italiane signed the agreement on the lease of land for construction of a factory for refinement of fruits and vegetables. City Council made the decision to provide a lease to the Italian entrepreneur, without compensation, in the industrial zone of the town. In return, Bonta Italiane got obliged to engage Serbian workforce and construction operative units.

- Processing capacities that will be built in the leased site will provide safe placement for great number of farmers in Leskovac region. It is not by chance that the Italians are in Leskovac. They revealed a secret to me that fruits and vegetables from our region tastes better than any fruit and vegetables from the rest of the Europe, the Mayor says, explaining that this investment will help farmers to learn much about how to produce food in accordance to the European standards.

This statement was confirmed by Mauro Kapra, who explained that he wanted to be sure of and to establish serious relations with the domestic contract farmers.

Mayor Kocić added that the town will support everybody who wants to cultivate land in Leskovac, except when it comes to 'dirty technology'.
