Tender announced for sale of "Eunet" - deadline for applications is July 13th

The Deposit Insurance Agency of Serbia has announced international tender for sale of Internet operator "Eunet".

According to the tender terms, the deadline for submission of letters of interest to the financial adviser - Raiffeisen Bank - expires on July 13th, and all the registered companies will be able to buy the information package with the terms of sale after they sign the contract for keeping the data confidential.

Total of 82% of "Yunet International" and 100% of capital of "Eunet" are offered for sale. These two companies operate together under the same brand - Eunet.

All companies that deal with information-communication technologies and registered minimum 10m EUR worth of incomes last year and investors who registered incomes or assets worth minimum 20m EUR in 2008 can apply for takeover of "Eunet" and "Yunet".

According to the ad in "Politika", "Eunet" and "Yunet" registered 9.5m EUR worth of incomes in 2008.

According to the data provided by the Business Registry Agency, "Eunet" had 20 employees and registered profit of 46.4m RSD, based on 166.6m RSD worth of incomes, at the end of year 2008, while Yunet had 113 employees and net profit of 20.7m RSD from 606.4m RSD worth of business incomes.

The owners of Eunet are Mirjana Rosić and Radoslav Stanković (who own the shares of 40% each) and Zvonko Cvetanovski and Ivan Ristić (who own the shares of 10% each).

Astra Banka in bankruptcy owns 62% of "Yunet", Mirjana Rosić and Radoslav Stanković own 9.9% each, while Bogoljub, Sreten and Dragomir Karić own about 4.5% of "Yunet" each.

According to the ad for sale of "Eunet", the sale of Eunet will be run by the Deposit Insurance Agency, which is the bankruptcy manager of Astra Banka.

The value of internet market in Serbia amounted to 120m EUR in 2008, which is twice as much as in 2007.

"Eunet" offers Internet services, maintenance of websites, web design and engineering, and it also obtained the license for VOIP services this year.
