Conditions for Electric Power Stock are being created - draft of a new Law on Energy in September

Minister of Energy Petar Škundrić stated that in September a draft of new Law on Energy, which will make institution of Electric Power Stock possible. As he stated, new Law on Energy is being made in order to standardize with the EU regulations.

- There are no significant differences in relation to the existing Law on Energy - said the Minister, and added that the existing law is standardized in 90% with the EU regulations.

The new Law, he emphasized, will set legal frame for institution new strategy of Energy of Serbia, and it should be finished by the end of this year. Basic aims of the new strategy will be to provide full energy stability and safety in Serbia, the Minister said.

He reminded us that the priority right of Serbia to use the energy capacities in a state of emergency has been provided by signing Energy Agreement with Russia.
