Belgrade to get 12 kindergartens by the end of 2019 – Tendering for construction to open soon

Deputy Mayor Goran Vesic has announced on RTS that the City of Belgrade plans to open 12 new kindergartens by the end of 2019.

As Beoinfo reports, Vesic pointed out that the tendering for the construction of the first three, pre-fabricated, kindergartens, would be opened before the end of the week.

– The three kindergartens will be built in Miloja Zakica Street in Cukarica, whereas two will be built in New Belgrade. In the next few months, the tendering for another eight kindergartens will be opened, whereas the project related to the future kindergarten in Vodovodska Street in Zarkovo is close to completion. This all means that, by the end of the year, there will be room for more than 3,100 children by the end of the year, which will also help cut down the waiting lists – Vesic said.
