The City Assembly of Subotica has reached the decision on letting the German car exhaust system company Boysen use land for free. If the Government of Serbia gives its approval, this will be the biggest foreign investment in Subotica.

This is another step towards the realization of the EUR 65 million investment, which will enable the employment of 500 people over the next five years.

The construction of the factory is expected in mid-2019.

– This, then, will be the largest factory in the Mali Bajmok industrial zone. I am sure that we will all benefit from this. The budget depends on the salaries and the property taxes and Subotica will go from the current 900 million to over a billion euros when it comes to the operations in Mali Bajmok in the upcoming period – says Mayor of Subotica Bogdan Laban.
