'Michelin' in Serbia won't dismiss workers

French producer of tires, `Michelin`, confirmed that it will not dismiss workers in Serbia, although it already announced that in France it will decrease number of employees for 1,093.
In Serbia, `Michelin` is the owner of tire producer `Tigar tyres` where there were 2,252 employees at the end of 2008, according to the Agency for trade register. Other parts of Pirot "Tigar`, which produce hardware rubber, rubber boots and chemical products, are not owned by `Michelin`.
As it was reported to us by AFP, factory`Noyelle-les-SeclinNoyelle-les-Seclin` in the North of France will be closed, and its 276 workers will be transferred to other work places. In a factory `Klermon-Ferano`, where 11,800 people are employed, `Michelin` has sent its workers to temporarily leave in the last few months, due to the crisis. The company, otherwise, has 69 factories in 19 countries and it employs around120,000 people.
Big producers of tires in West Europe are restructuring production due to both decrease of demand on market and competition of new producers, which is becoming more and more severe, AFP stated.
