David is experienced Project Manager with 18 years experience on a range of building, retail, FMCG, telecommunications, civil and petrochemical projects for a number of blue chip organisations. Eight years have been spent managing and delivering overseas Building, Telecommunications and Infrastructure projects in Japan, USA and Belgium. Experienced in men / team management, supply chain, negotiating & management of contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, etc), site acquisition, site construction and cost control. David speaks Serbian, English and Russian.

David promotes and delivers an effective and transparent project management service. This is achieved via a visible and pro-active role and developing a close working relationship with the Client and design team and from the establishment of the client brief and budget through the preparation of the first initial feasibility estimate to the ultimate completion of the project.


He fully promotes and endorses building and delivering the sustainable projects with minimum negative effect on the environment. He implements the techniques of value management, risk management and contingency management throughout each project together with the application of the principals of optimism bias and whole life costing exercises for relevant projects.

David joined Arup Project Management in March 2007 to strengthen and further develop the skills and breadth of experience within the cost and value management team of APM.
He had previously spent 17 years working as Project Manager for SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals, Ericsson Telecommunications, Intel Corporation in USA and London Underground Ltd. (LUL) advancing his career from project surveyor to lead Project Manager prior to joining Arup.

David Čolić will be one of the speakers at the second Real Estate Belgrade Exhibition and Conference, REBEC 2009, which will be held in Belgrade, between June 22 and 24, 2009 (www.rebec.rs)
