European entrepreneurship net in Serbia opened

European entrepreneurship net through which entrepreneurs get information about market, new technologies and potential partners in European Union, was opened yesterday (16/6/2009) in Serbia.

At the opening of the net in the Republic agency for small and middle-sized companies , State Secretary for regional development of Serbia, Dejan Jovanović, said that the aim of the project is to improve competitiveness of domestic companies on foreign market.

According to his statement, 1.2 million euros has been set aside for European net in Serbia, within Framework programme for competitiveness and innovativeness (CIP), for the next three years.

Director of the Agency for small and middle sized companies , Goran Dzafic, emphasized that the European net will enable entrepreneurs to have insight European Union regulations, to participate on tenders and to make business contracts.

- By this project, entrepreneurs are enabled to communicate through web cam, where they can exchange information in a second - Dzafic emphaiszed.

At the head of the project, there is a Consortium, made by Republic Agency for development of small and middle-sized companies, Universities of Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis, Institute Mihajlo Pupin and the Agency for foreigh investment and export promotion.
