After reconstruction - tender selling of 'Jugoremedija'

In the factory of medicines `Jugoremedija` in Zrenjanin, there is a reconstruction of production plants going on as well as the struggle with time-limits to meet the European standards for medicine production, so that they could try to find a buyer in a process of public tender.

The president of the managing board and acting director of `Jugoremedija`, Zdravko Deurić, said to Tanjug that there is another long, tough period yet to come for chemists from Zrenjanin in getting certificates with European standards, which deadline is determined for 31/8/2009.

Deurić, who was at the head of small share-holders of `Jugoremedija` in three years long fight with Macedonian company `Jaka 80` and its owner Jovicom Stefanovićem Nini, about annulling illegal privatization of the pharmaceutical company from Zrenjanin, says that a year ago they entered a serious reconstruction of a production plant in order to save 450 work places and find true partner in the following tender selling.

- `Jugoremedija` has to have European technology, for which we still miss 2 billion euros - emphasizes Deurić.

He hopes that the money will be provided by bank loans and that the factory of medicines will then enter tender selling at higher price, which will be more useful to both share-holders and the state, that is the owner of 42% of capital.
