Agreement signed on economic cooperation with Republic of Srpska

Serbia and Republic of Srpska (RS) signed the agreement today (June 15, 2009) on economic cooperation that should increase exchange of goods and alleviate consequences of the economic crisis.
- The Agreement will make it possible for the citizens of Republic of Srpska to buy Kragujevac's "punto" with the discount of 1,000 EUR and IMT tractors with the discount of 2,000 EUR, with the subventions of Serbia and Republic of Srpska - this was said to the press following the signing of the Agreement in the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade.
The Agreement anticipates that the Government of Serbia will subsidize loans for its citizens for procurement of furniture in Republic of Srpska, as well as for tourist arrangements in Republic of Srpska.
The Agreement was signed by the Minister of Economy and Regional Development and the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Mlađan Dinkić, and the Minister of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation and the Deputy Prime Minister of RS, Jasna Brčić.
The Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, said after the Agreement was signed that the cooperation programme would be expanded and reminded that Serbia had offered the same terms of cooperation for subsidized procurement of goods and services to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
