Greek "Alapis" announced offer for takeover of 2.2% of remaining stocks of "Šumadijalek"

Greek company "Alapis", which owns 97.8% of stocks of "Šumadijalek", announced the bid today (June 15, 2009) for takeover of remaining 2.2% of stocks, which means that it wants to become the sole owner of that Čačak-based company.
- "Alapis" intends to take over total of 2,064 stocks of that pharmaceutical company, and it has promised to pay 245 EUR per stock according to the NBS' middle exchange rate on the day of closing of the offer for takeover, that is, not less than 23,100 RSD - it is stated in the ad published in newspaper "Politika".
The bid for takeover submitted by Greek owner, which currently possesses 91,554 stocks of "Šumadijalek", will be valid prior to July 6th.
- The aim of takeover is further development of operations without the change of business - it is stated in the ad and added that there would be no significant changes in the company's management and HR policy.
"Alapis" bought 68.25% of capital of "Šumadijalek" for 2m EUR on the tender in September 2007, it offered about 2m EUR worth of investment programme and accepted all obligations from the mandatory and additional social programme.
