Fifth International Emergency Medicine Congress on May 23-25 in Pirot

The 5th International Emergency Medicine Congress, jointly organized by the Serbian Society for Emergency Physicians (SSEP), and Center for Emergency Medical Care, Sofia, Bulgaria, will be held in Pirot, Serbia, on 23-25 May 2019.

The program of the congress is oriented towards physicians, residents and medical students; as well as nurses, researchers and scientists, pharmacists, nutritionists, and anyone involved in the delivery of emergency care.

Many of the sessions will cover important aspects of emergency medicine including recognition and treatment of acute cardiology conditions, critical care, basic and advanced ultrasound, lessons learned from tactical and military medicine, updates in toxicology, development of prehospital care systems, and so much more.

As said, the motto of the Fifth International Emergency Medicine Congress is I WANT IT ALL, emphasizing the growing need for doctors, both emergency medicine and all those who deal with emergency patients, enlarging and perfecting their professional competencies to master new knowledge and technologies, for the overall benefit of the patients.

The SSEP and its supporter, International Center for Excellence in Emergency Medicine (CEEM), are sponsoring the oral abstract competition. The 3 abstracts receiving the highest scores as determined by the Abstract Review Committee will be awarded. The primary authors of the top three scoring abstracts will each be invited to deliver a five minute oral presentation during the Congress and will also receive a tablet.
