"Japan Tobacco International" to invest 60m USD in Serbia in 2009

Company "Japan Tobacco International" (JTI) announced today (June 11, 2009) that it would invest 60m USD in improvement of operations in Serbia in 2009.
According to the announcement, that investment is intended for modernization of production in tobacco factory in Senta and improvement of sales and distribution.
- "Japan Tobacco International" has come to Serbia with a long-term strategy focused on investments in development at local and regional level. Part of that strategy is this year's capital injection of 60m USD - said Christian Cring, the Director General of JTI for Western Balkans.
