Veterinarian Institute opened the fish food production line today (June 8, 2009) in Subotica, as well as the unit for production of solid hemo-pharmaceutical products in Srpska Crnja.
The unit in Subotica cost 4m EUR, while 3m EUR were invested in the unit in Srpska Crnja.
The President of the Executive Council of Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtić, pointed out at the opening of the unit in Subotica that the Veterinarian Institute was the company that sent the message at the time of the global crisis that the companies that opened two new production units on the same day existed after all.
Pajtić pointed out that the existence of such companies was the main reason why the provincial administration supports launching of new production units and employment of new workers through special programmes.
- Our estimates are that we will have 20,000 newly employed people in Vojvodina by the end of the year - said Pajtić.
Veterinarian Institute Subotica belongs to "Victoria Group", the largest agri-industrial production company in the region.
Opening of the new units has brought the whole production of the Institute in accord with ISO, HACCP and GMP standards.
- By opening the new units, the Veterinarian Institute has brought the production in accord with all standards - said the Director General of the Subotica-based Institute, Nataša Pavichević-Bajić, and reminded that the Institute had implemented four large development projects over the last year.
