"Holcim" to invest 4m EUR in environmental projects prior to end of 2009s

Company "Holcim Srbija" plans to invest additional 4m EUR in environment protection by the end of year 2009.

With those 4m EUR, that company will have been invested total of 9m EUR in environmental project, major share of which is intended for wastewater treatment.

"Holcim Srbija" is a part of Swiss concern "Holcim", one of the world's largest manufacturers of cement, aggreggate and concrete.

On the occasion of celebration of the Day of Environment Protection, company "Holcim" has organized a campaign for collecting of public utility waste and cleaning of picnic grounds Grza near Paraćin.

Campaign "Paraćin - my piece of the world" has been carried out in association with the students of Technology School in Paraćin.
