First apartments for army members in Novi Nis soon – A total of 21,000 m2 for SAF by autumn

Mayor of Nis Darko Bulatovic has announced that the American company Clean Earth Capital will be ready to hand over the first 7,500 square meters of residential space in the two recently built units in Novi Nis, in the location of the former Bubanjski Heroji barracks, to the Serbian Armed Forces in around twenty days.

Bulatovic said that the American company had managed to build two residential buildings in five months and that it was therefore expected for a total of 21,000 sqm of residential pace for SAF members to be built in Novi Nis by September or October.

Clean Earth Capital bought Bubanjski Heroji in 2011 for EUR 1.5 million, and the American company is obliged by contract to build 21,000 sqm of residential space for SAF employees.

Under the initial agreement, the deadline for the construction of these apartments was 2016, and the annex signed the same year extended the deadline until the end 2018.
