The Institute of Austrian Chamber of Commerce for Improvement of Economy - WIFI, has started operating in Serbia.
The CEO of WIFI in Serbia, Branko Dragaš, said that the companies would be offered educational programmes for entrepreneurship, management, sales, crisis management, etc.
- That is practical education and transfer of know-how - said he and added that the selection of local experts who would train entrepreneurs and businessmen in Serbia was underway.
The condition is that those who apply have minimum 10 years of experience in the sector on which they want to teach. There will be about 10 local lecturers, and that number should grow to about 100 within the next year.
As the experts of WIFI explained, about 70% of programmes and courses of that institute are made to fit the needs of individual enterprises, while the rest are general courses.
Branko Dragaš said that he owned 40% of capital of that company in Serbia, while 60% were owned by Austrian Institute WIFI.
WIFI is one of the largest European educational institutes and it offers training programmes for improvement of operations in all sectors of economy. Besides in Austria, there are also training centers in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, and now in Serbia as well.
